    DO everyone have to get a d&c done after a miscarriage
    Do you have to get a d&c done after a miscarriage if its your first child and will something bad happen if you have unprotected sex without have one done first.:confused:

    It is not always necessary to have a D&C, but it is recommended so that all of the tissue that was left behind is evacuated.

    Can something bad happen? Probably not, but if a D&C was recommended by your doctor, you should follow his/her recommendations. This is something you really should consult with your physician about.
