Need channel 3 on Phillips TV
Trying to get my new dtv converter box working. I can not get the basic sign-in program to display on the Phillips TV where we are just renting. I called the converter box manufacturer and the FCC and they both say I need to be able to tune in channel 3. However this TV just skips from channel 2 to 4. Any suggestions?

On TV, Did you manually enter 3, and will remote allow you to go to 3?

I entered 3 with the remote and received the message that "Channel 3 is not available." I have since contacted Phillips and have learned that this set is a commercial set intended for hotels. Still waiting to talk to a rep, Thanks

Just looked up your modulator, and it says it has a switch for channel 3 or 4?

Even if the modulator will attempt to select channel 3, it will not make the TV go to channel 3. I still need the remote.

Looking through your other post's, and found where info on the modulator says 3 or 4 selectable, usually a very small slide switch.
If getting Video and No audio through modulator, doublecheck the source of your audio.
