    memory upgrade
    Hello
    My attempt to upgrade from 2 x 128mb sdram pc100... using 2 x 256mb sdram pc133hhz resulted in, apart from 'no signal' a blank monitor sceen.
    Pc make unknown

    Motherboard... MS6183 N1966

    Any help appreciated

    Turn off power, remove, reinstall/reseat first.

    Nope... tried the remedy but still no boot up. Pc runs fine with original memory reinstalled.

    According to this manual:

    Your motherboard only supports PC100 SDRAM. Check section 2.3.1.
