    PC sound not working after reinstallation
    My PC sound was working perfectly fine before my system crashed but after I reinstalled XP Pro the entire PC sound is off, I tried checking under control panel etc... but I can't access any help or get it back to functionality... Please Help

    Reinstall the sound drivers that originally came with your PC. That should fix the problem.

    Like twinkledooter suggested -- get the Make and Model of your Sound Card

    Google it to find drivers -- Example: Creative Sound Blaster AudioPCI - driver

    Download -- This should give you site to download fresh set of drivers

    Install and enjoy your sound

    Make sure the on-board sound chip is enabled in BIOS. At chipset section it should be.
