    Too much education at home
My dad makes me do 4 hours of education each night for an exam that is 3 years away,he doesn't let me do anything else apart from revising,he gives me a VERY severe punishment if I don't revise for at least 4 hours each night! I don't know how to make him calm down!!

What do you mean when you say severe punishment? What is he doing?

Do you have an advisor or counselor at school? I would suggest finding and speaking someone outside of your family, whether it is an advisor or an instructor, or a clerical person that you trust. You need an adult that will intervene for you. Is there anyone that comes to mind when I suggest this? Someone you can trust and tell them everything that is going on? Please do this as soon as possible. You are obviously under a great deal of stress and you need an adult to help you with this.

For you to say all this without much background, does not allow us to give you much to go on. What kind of education is your Father requiring? For what kind of exam in three years? What does he do to punish you? Are you being home schooled or do you attend school outside the home? Who else do you have contact with on a daily basis? Where is your Mother? If she is there, does she have any ability to help you?

If you are being as "severely punished" as you state, you need to call the police and report your Father. Your Father needs to know that his behavior is not allowed and you can be taken to a safe home. Such as a foster home. I would not see why you cannot call the 911 number. Unless you live where there is no 911 access. But still, you can call the police. You can tell someone else, as Ruby has suggested. Someone who can step in on your behalf and intervene.

You are not powerless. Good luck.

I can understand that, to you, being grounded is a form of severe punishment. I still do not understand all the rest, which you have opted not to enlighten us here. But that is your choice. I do hope you and your Father can come to some agreement that will allow you to study and still have personal time. I continue to wish you good luck.
