    Adoption of a child whose father is deceased
    How does my husband go about adopting my daughter who's father is deceased?

    Well, what I would do is take the dearth certifacate to the courts and apply for adoptions. The courts will talk u through the precredures.

    File a motion with family court, produce your daughters birth certificate with Dad's name on it and produce Dad's certificate of death. It should be a routine procedure from there.
