    1930 census
You can't go back to 1600 as the census does not go back that far. A Google search should get you info as far back as the census goes. Most people weho are into genealogy (which I am not( usually end up getting info from the Chusch of Jesus Christe of Later Day Saints (Mormon church) as their library archives is one of the most extensive anywhere.
    Best wishes,

I agree with the previous expert... that search was not in practice at the time of 1600

    Free census search
True... no 1600 census reports, but other records may be available. For free searches go to rootsweb. Other sites may cost $, but you may find them helpful.

For your nearest LDS (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) Family History centre, check in your local telephone directory under, "Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints, The."

There may be a separate listing for the Family History (Genealogy) Centre. If not, call one of the Wards (congregations) listed. As the LDS Church (aka Mormon Church) does not have a full time or paid ministry, it might be best to call in the evening, except for Monday when their facitlies are closed for Family Home Evening.

You could also try their official websites:

    www.lds.org

    www.mormon.org

Even though the census records do not reach that far back, there are many other records of inestimable value to the genealogist (family historuan), and specialists are on hand at the Mormon Centres to provide assistance whenever required.

My wife has traced her family tree back to the Plantaganets, and other European crowned heads. She has charged me $20.00 to speak to her ever since she made that connection, because I am but a poor man from a working class background!

    I wish you well.

    Good luck.
