What Type of Laser Beam is Visible During Daylight (Or are Special Glasses Needed)?
I would like to know what type (Green, Red, etc.) of laser beam is visible in daylight? Also, what would be the recommended power for the laser (100mW?) to be seen in daylight? Are special glasses needed to be able to see the laser beam in daylight? Or can the laser beam be visible to the naked eye? Thank You --Bill

You generally can't see the beam because the environment is too light or not enough dust.

The beam needs to strike something.

The eye sees some colors easily and some it's more difficult. For instance Yellow is good for a lit room, green for a dark room.

Each laser has a primary wavelength. That's the basic color.

One tends to use eye protection, so you won't be blinded by a laser. I've used <500 mW in various colors and one 1 W laser.
