    Pvc or abs
    I'm building a potato cannon but I don't know rather to use pvc or abs piping:mad: I'm mainly looking for power of my potato cannon but I don't know witch plastic piping is stronger please

    PVC is available in schedule 80 which has a thicker wall making it stronger than the regular schedule 40 or the DVW stuff. I don't see much ABS around, and don't think it comes in schedule 80. Depending on what calibre your cannon will be, you could get stuck going to a plumbing supply and buying a 20' length.
