    Pressure drop
    :confused: What should the pressure drop across the coil be on a chilled water unit ? I have a pressure of 40 psi incoming and 40 psi going out of the unit. I don't know the flow rate at this time but I'am working on it. Can someone help.

    normal 5 to 10 psi... you should have press drop... check your gauges...
    Q = (FR x 60 x 8.33) TD
    Q= total load in BTU per hr, 8.33 pound per gal of water, FR= flow rate in gal per minute, 60 minute, TD temps differential
