I'm writing a book where a girl has mind reading powers and the ability to move things with her mind, but I need a catch to it. PLEASE HELP

Not sure what you mean by catch, from my knowledge all are tricks and there are no real proven cases of success.

As for mind readers, I used to work with one on a stage show, ( I did hypnosis) but the mind reader had a plant in the crowd, who watched them come in, listened to them, and had lots of info on many people to feed to the mind reader on a two way radio

Next he also looked at their shoes, ( tells you a lot about a person) wanted to handle they keys, the type of car will tell you a lot also. Lines for wedding rings that may be taken off for the night and so on.

Then they were vague enough with the facts except for where they had over heard facts they could have exact names and facts.

Thank you Fr Chuck. What I mean buy catch is maybe (just an absolute randome idea) Say if the girl reads to far into the future she may faint or maybe be lost in time or something. I don't think those are good ideas, so I wanted to see if anyone else has better ones. That's what I mean, sorry to confuce you
