Should you read more books less often or less books more often?
I have been mulling this one over and over in my head. I need help.

    Hi Animus,

I am not really sure. I guess it depends how well you absorb the material on the first reading. If upon having read a book you are convinced that you understand it then I guess there is no problem moving on to the next book.

On the other hand, if you have problems grasping the concepts put forward then it would be a good idea to reread and possibly read again. On this basis you would be reading less books but have a better understanding. Other than this I don't really know.

    Regards

I was told many years ago that it's better to read fewer books and understand what the author is saying than to read many books and miss most of the content.

I found this to be true.

I'm a slow reader myself, and proud of it. I think you get much more of the story and the philosophy behind it. I also like to read very long novels with a lot of characters, and for that you need to take your time when reading. I hope this helps.
