    Go to college or improve
Hello everyone, I have recently left school and went to go to numerous college's but on the day my confidence was knocked and I came home. I went to go to another college which was closer only for them to tell me I was'nt good enough! Now I don't know what to do as the reason I was rejected from the college is because of my maths skils, I have the chance to go and improve my maths or go to college which will be a struggle.

I'd vote for plan "A"... work on improving your math skills first. No sense in setting yourself up on a path of frustration. Then when you feel more confident in your math ability, attend college.

Another option, if you don't want to put off college for a time, might be to see if the college you want to attend offers any tutoring that you can take advantage of while you still attend. Do you have any friends or family members that can help you through the course? You may find a bit of extra help will be enough to help you succeed.

Improve policing [ 8 Answers ]

In a distressed community I work in, the police are poorly paid (it's about $8/hour) and their level of training coming on to the force is lower, too.
