Why did my accout get all messed up?
So, my internet was being slow, so I restarted my computer. When I tried to log in (limited account type) it said something about not being able to load your stuff or something, and said it would temporarily set as a TEMP account, and when it signed me in it was set to all the stuff a "guest" account would have. And when I go to MyComputer it and go to the section where it holds all the users folders there's my dad's, mine, guest, and one that says TEMP, when try to access mine (the actual programs), it says cannot access, possibly invalid path or restricted access, but all my files/programs are still there. Any idea on how to get all that stuff back when I log in? Cause every time I log in again, it does the same thing and sets me to the TEMP account. How do I fix this?

You need to log in using an administrator's account. There is probably a hidden administrator's account that was created when the operating system was installed. You can try logging in using that account if you think you know the password. Once you do that, you can create a new account and log onto it.

Have you tried to log in again using your original account's username and password? I suspect you have. Now you're using an account with limited access to the computer.

Can you or your Dad log in using your Dad's account? Does he have administrative privileges? If so, I think that's your best bet. Once you do that, you can move your old files to some place safe, delete your old account, and create a new one (you can use the same name). Then give that account administrative privileges.

If all else fails, you can log onto the computer using "Windows Ultimate Boot CD". Basically, you're bypassing your operating system. You can then copy all of the files you wish to wherever you wish.

My dad is the Administrator of the PC, later when he gets home I'll go on his account, make new account, move files, and hope all works. Thanks for everything.
