Need to compress or fade audio clip
I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask, but I am not exactly computer savvy. I am trying to upload an audio clip to a website, but it is to big. I need to compress it or fade (?). I am not real sure how to do this, so any advice would be great. I have the audio saved in my limewire library. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you're using an MP3, I suggest using Audacity

Audacity: Free Audio Editor and Recorder

It takes a LITTLE bit of playing around with it to get used to it, but you can do wonders on it.

In order to export as an MP3, you will need to download lame_enc.dll and put it in your C:\Widows folder. You can find the file here:

    DLL-files.com - lame_enc.dll, free download
