    Laptop
So here is the deal. My laptop was turned off for about three weeks because I had to get a new power supply for it. I turned it back on once I got the new power supply, today. The mouse was going crazy. Now I restarted it, and it was doing better, but this time it was going really slow, but acting normally. So, I turned it to fast, and it's still going kind of slow. What's the deal?

A lot of housekeeping goes on when you first turn on a dormant system.

Well, if it's been off for 3 weeks, is it connected to the Internet when you turned it on? There have been a crapload of huge updates to Windows and ZoneAlarm in the past few weeks, so maybe your system is "auto-downloading" in the background AND running long overdue virus scans, etc.

No, it hasn't been connected. It already did all the auto-updates and the mouse is still acting funny.
