    Fax error message
    I have a machine that does fax/scan/copy and it does not want to fax at all. It is giving me an Error Number:0x800ccc0d, Socket Error: 12007. What can I do?

    The make/model would be helpful - error codes are not universal.

    It is a Brother MFC-240C. I apologize but since they tell you to make it short I did, sorry. CC

    I actually have TWO 2040s. Is yours a 240C or a 2040?

    Just as a sidenote he 2040's are nightmares. I spend more time taking them apart then I do using them to print. Always had Brothers, 2040 is a loser.
