Been there and done that... I can't find any like it. It is called a Library Cabinet. It's oak with a beveled edge mirror and two rows of Faux books, Scott and Irving. I'd like to know the history of this particular model and the value for insurances purposes. My grandmother bought it new in Milwaukee, don't know the date purchased, and was using it until she gave it to me back in the early 80's. My grandfather attached a little motor to bypass the foot throttle.

Well, for anyone to venture even a guess condition plays a big factor on value as opposed to others of that type. Have you tried different combinations of information in the querry. Like the name, model number. Under Google you can also select pictures and it searchs for pictures that meet that criteria. I've found I've had to try different combinations of information, leaving some things out sometimes to find what I've been looking for. And yeah.. when you are searching for less common things... you don't always get everything that's out there on your first attempt. Also looking for "collectible Sewing machines" etc... there have to be websites by people that collect antique sewing machines etc that might also prove to be a valuable resource. THere is an unbelievable amount of information out there, the trick is knowing how to search for it. I advise printing out anything you find and not just bookmark it. Because the website is there now and has been is no guarantee it will be tomorrow or next month even. Yeah someone that might be familiar with that one could answer the thread... but they might not. I'm not a Google guru but those are some tips to how I go about trying to find out something that's not well known or common. |

Hey jwise- any luck? I have the same one and all I can find is where it has been sold in past auctions but no pricing. Also does anyone know how to pick the lock on the front door? :-) is there a trick latch or something? Wish I had that drawer of random keys My grandfather had now! Lol
