    Noritake coffee set
If I supply photographic images, could someone please supply me with some information about a set of Noritake coffee cups and saucers that I have just inherited. The basic colour is a deep rich red, with gold embossing around a central picture of a lake scene. There are also gold embossed flowers decorating the sides of the cup, and the lip, rim and handles are also gold. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a website about identifying Noritake china: Noritake China Identification - Antique Noritake Dishes

Also on that link is a book that looks like it may help you. If it is not an antique, I'd suggest going to the main Noritake website and looking up the pattern.

Sometimes china patterns put the name of the specific pattern on the bottom of the dishes. Does yours have a name?

Thank you for the swift response. In answer to your question, there is no identifying pattern mark on either the cups or the saucers, just the name Noritake and a symbol, which I cannot as yet identify.
