    Early 70's spirograph-like projection toy
When I was very young, my father bought a toy that cast light images on a screen in the unit.

I was like three years old, but was so entranced that I remember a lot of details but have not been able to find what it was called on the Internet.

The toy consisted of a number of patterned glass (or plastic) disks that were inserted on either side at the top, once turned on, light was projected through them and you could vary the rotational speed of both through their own levers to throttle their speed as the light was projected on a single screen.

This let you form optical harmonics and was really pretty cool for the time.

I believe that it was made by Ohio Arts, though I could be mis-remembering it with another manufacturer (Hasbro) or somebody.

It was a long time ago, but I have been looking off-and-on since the '80's to find out at least what it was called.

    Any help would be appreciated.
