Can anyone tell me the value of a Bush and Gerts upright piano? I think it was made around 1915.

Hi, ruth580!

What it's worth is monetarily would depend on many factors.

For instance, it would help to have at least the following information about it.

Do all of the notes play as they should? Can it be tuned to standard, modern pitch? When was the last time that it was tuned? Are all of the original ivories on the keys still in place? Does it have a bench that matches the style of the body of the case? What is the condition of the finish on the piano?

Those are just some of the questions that need to be addressed.

Thanks for the reply! I don't know much a/b pianos. This piano belonged to my great grandmother. The condition of the piano seems to be great. It has all the original ivories except 4 and all the notes play, but I'm sure it needs to be tuned. It also has a bench I'm not sure if it is the original one ill find out. Thanks!

Whether it can be tuned or not is very important. I have people that call me about their pianos and I can tell them over the phone whether the piano can be tuned or not. It saves them money and me a trip, because I don't have to make a trip over to their home to do that.

Perhaps their might be a piano tuner/technician around where you are located who would be willing to do the same thing?

If you could post some images of your piano on this thread, that would help me to get more of an idea as to what you have.
