    1968 Detroit Tigers Baseball
I have come into possession of a baseball (not a game ball) signed by all team members of the 1968 Detroit Tigers baseball team - a total of 30 autographs. I'm having it authenticated by one of the firms that are accepted by the major auction houses (Christie's, etc.). I believe the team won the world series that year. I've also been told that one of the player's autographs is especially valuable because he was with the team for only that one year. Does anybody have any info about this?

    Thanks in advance,

    Tracy

Tracy, the player is eddie mathews. He passed away some time ago but is in the hall of fame. He hit 512 home runs, mostly with the milwaukee braves. JIM
