    Bad reference from a previous employer
    My previous employer has given me a bad reference to my new employer, can I sue them for it? What hey have said is not true..

    If you have a copy of the reference with specifics and you can prove that a) it was totally false, b) it was done with malice and c) you were financially damaged by the reference, then you may have a case.
