    Sewing ?
I am starting to sew, not real good at it, but I have always laid my pattern on my material with right sides to the outside.
    Is this not correct.
The pattern I am working on now states if you fold the material put the right side in, and then lay the pattern and cut.
Is this correct? Don't want to mess up my fabric , can anyone help?? Thanks:confused:

Been sewing for over 45 years and I always put the fabric with the right side folded inside then put the pattern over it and cut. This way when you sew it up with the two right sides together your garment will come out perfect. Be sure to follow the recommended seam edge also for a perfect fit.
