Insoluable fiber doesn't dissolve in water and passes through your digestive tract largely unchanged ( found in cereals, wheat brans stalks and peels of fruits and veggies, whole wheat corn bran, flax seed green beans cauliflower fruit skins.

Insoluable fiber accelerates intestinal movement increases fecal weight, flow and starch hydroysis and delays glucose absorption (i.e softer, larger feces)

Soluble, dissolves in water and is degraded by bacteria in you colon, found in fruits, barley oats, psyllium, and some beans It increase stool volume and waer content of stools, also found in oat bran, nuts, seeds, strawberries and a lot of veggies, dried beans, flax seed, oranges, apples and carrots.
