    Red and swollen ear
    My four year old son' s ear is red, swollen and hot to the touch. We noticed it yesterday but it is now more swollen, wondering what it could be and if he needs to be seen by a doctor

    I would recommend it.. if it expands to include the inner ear the possibility of permanent hearing damage makes it essential.

    Go today. If it's mastoiditis, common in children, you need antibiotics.
