How to Access Admin Shares on 2 different Subnets
I'm running Server 2003 on Subnet 255.255.255.0/ Gateway 160.138.17.1. I'm trying without any success to access my networked machines that are on Subnet 255.255.255.192 / Gateway 160.138.22.65 using Admin Shares \\CName\C$. I use all static IP's and DNS only and I can ping all the machines I'm thinking this is a router issue but the Router is at another location that I don't have access to. Is there a way to configure my Server to have access to Admin Shares on two different Subnets? Any help will be appreciated.

Subnets don't matter. They just specify whether the network is local or foreign to the router. If you're trying to connect to the share remotely, then most likely you're being blocked by the remote router as netbios/microsoft-ds are very often targeted across the internet and of course the network you're trying to reach is foreign to your router. You can either request someone on the remote end open your WAN connection on the remote side to allow you access or use a private VPN tunnel across the 2 computers (unless they're also blocking ipsec or isakmp) which any secure site will do. Of course there are other ways that require software to be installed on your machine but I don't want to go into that. You can Google those if you want.
