    Cannot renew ip address
    Help I'm new here.
    Been having problems accessing internet.
    Finally realised I have no ip address its all o's.
    When I go run/cmd I get c:\Documents and Setting\Claudes>
    Ip address 0.0.0.0
    Subnet mask 0.0.0.0
    Default gateway shows nothing

    When I type ipcofig/release says local area connection 1 has already been released

    Then type ipconfig/renew
    _ appears and nothing happens

    PLEASE HELP

    Routers and modems working and turned on?

    Plugs/cables attached securely?

    WOW!!

    Never thought this would be problem but I switched cord port on Belkin Router and rebooted and it worked.
