    How do I hook up a wireless router form a Time Warner high speed modem to my laptop?

    Your wireless router most likely came with a setup CD. You will need to first connect your laptop to the router using a CAT5e or CAT6 ethernet cable. Once you have progressed through the setup CD, you can then enable wireless security and use the wireless connection in your laptop.

    You also can configure your router from browser but you should have straight cable ( network cable ) Cat5 .

    After you plug the in the network cable from computer to router. You will get the IP address.

    The default gatway is router's IP address.

    You can configure by using that IP .

    Type in that IP in browser and you will see the router interface .
