    Particular PC are not accesiable
    Help me,

    I am using xp sp2 and my laptop is win 2000 professional .when ia browse from my PC to laptop by particular it is not accesiable.its give me error that particular ip address is not accessiable. When I change my ip address in laptop it is accesiable .
    I am working as networking enginere I am unable to solve my problem.

    Help me..

    In order to help answer your question, more information will be needed from you. For instance, when you say you browse to your laptop "by particular", what do you mean? Are you using Window's Network Places or similar, or are you entering an IP address in Explorer?

    What IP addresses do you have assigned to each computer, and what subnet mask? How are these computers connected? Wireless or Ethernet? If Ethernet, are they back-to-back or through a hub/switch?

    Without this information, it will be near impossible to help. Based on what you have said, I would guess that the IP range you are using on the laptop when it doesn't work is not within the range used by the PC, but that's just an uninformed guess.

    If you provide more information, I'm sure someone will be able to help.
