Connecting my laptop to my TV
I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop. It doesn't have any TV out ports, just several USB drives, a headphone/mic 3.5m slot, and a VGA port.

My TV has an audio/video tricolour port thing (as used to connect the PS2) and several SCART ports.

I've got a lot of videos on my laptop and it's making my eyes hurt watching them at a distance of about two feet! IS there any way I can connect my laptop to my TV and watch them through that?

Another thing that I was wondering whether it was possible, is that I have a Nokia N95 mobile phone. Now, I know that it's *possible* to put videos from the laptop onto the phone, but I don't know how to do it. However, I DO know how to connect my phone to my TV (through the audio/video tricolour thing) and watch the videos on my phone on my TV.
It's a long shot, but is it possible to connect my laptop to my phone and stream the videos to the TV via the phone?

If anybody could help me with either of these queries, or point me in the right direction, it'd be much appreciate!!

    Thanks so much

Yes, you need either a TV out adapter ot a VGA to TV adapter.

I have such a device, see here:

AVerMedia - QuickPlay PC-to-TV Converter, PC to TV Scan Converters, Scan Converters, PC-to-TV Converters, PC-to-TV Converter, PC to TV Converter

I use it mostly on vacations.
