    Hello j:

Houses creak. It AIN'T nothing. But, if you BELIEVE in the supernatural, ain't nothing I could say that would change your mind...

Personally, MY belief in the supernatural ended when I found out there was no Santa Clause.

You could be paranoid... it could be a real problem. That is something NOBODY on here can accurately judge. Hauntings are real, however. If you really think you have a problem like that, find a church that knows how to handle spiritual situations (not all of them really do).

I at one point never believed in the paranormal till I sat down an had a conversation with my father (he died when I was 6) an the way you're describing it sounds like you have a ghost in your house. The reason your dogs bark is because they can see it an they're uncomfortable with whatever is there. Find a medium in your state, he/she can confirm it an can tell you how to deal with it. Usually a little lighting of sage an going threw your house (top to bottom all windows doors all rooms) an just wave the smoke around an say out loud "this is MY house you're not welcome here, I am taking control back." You can ask them to leave.
Now I know there are skeptics out there an then there's people like me who believe, I've done this 'sage of the house' for ghosts an unwanted feelings in the house. It deff works... be on the safe side, find yourself a medium. (Better to know whT you're dealing with first)
