Find A Christmas Story Song Narration
I have been looking for information on this for a while. I hope you can help.
I am looking for name of song or artist of song. Song is a Christmas narration about a train trip on an empty passenger train on Christmas eve. The narrator remembers his Christmas as a child at home. The song/story ends with the Narrator hearing a women crying sitting by herself on the same train with a baby. He holds her hand and says Merry Chirstmas.

I too have been looking for the answer to this question. I have a copy on a cassette but no info. I do know that the narrator is an actor, but can't remember his name. He has done some westerns, but I just can not remember who he is. Too bad no one can help with this.

I've been trying to find information on it at well. No luck here. I was wondering to the person w/ the copy on cassette, could you post 2 or 3 or more of the verses from the cassette? I barely remember it, it's been 2 or 3 years ago when I heard it, and it might make searching online for the lyrics a little easier.

Here are the first few lyrics of that Christmas song. If you have any luck finding it, please let me know. ( There was hardly anyone on the train as it moved through the countryside... The snow covered land, slipped smoothly by. Way out there I could see a lonely house now and again... just turning on their lights against the cold oncoming night.)

That helps a great deal, thank you very much! I didn't know the best question to ask, so I was just relying on lyric memorization and Google. Now I have every piece of info I needed. Donnarospd, thank you for your expertise.
