    Brain Cramp
    Can you help jar my memory with this one? There was a black male artist whom I first saw on Video Soul hosted by Donnie Simpson during the 80's or 90's. I cannot remember the song title or artist's name. He had dreadlocks and sang this slow song by a swimming pool. I believe this was a one hit wonder. I purchased the single on a 45 record, but can't find it. I really liked this song, but am having a hard time remembering the title/artist. I know the artist was not Maxi Priest. I can remember a few words..."You said you would be mine forever and a day....that's the only way....til the end of time..." I know there were 2 or 3 female backup singers who sang along with the artist at the swimming pool. Hope this is enough information to get my answer. Thank you to the person who can help find the answer to this musical mystery.
