    Sound not working
    Sounds stopped working. I tried reinstalling sound board (Sigma Tel) with no success.
    They had been working but just stopped.

    Has anything been installed recently?
    Go into control panel then system and go to hardware and then Device manager
    Is there any yellow marks in device manager

My sound card has 'expired'. I recently installed webcam and have been communicating successfully (audio and visual) for some weeks. Suddenly my sound card 'went'. Attached speakers are okay. Please help if you can.
