Who hid under the bed twice?
My daughter and I have seen a film (possibly a TV episode) in which a child hides under the bed to escape intruders who are attacking her family. Much later in the film, she has to do the same thing as an adult, triggering some kind of regaining of memory/epiphany which is significant. Obviously, lots of films have child under bed: the point here is the repetition of the situation in adulthood. First scene is near beginning of film. Recent - probably in last ten years.

    Not Forgotten (2009)
    Starring Simon Baker
    IMDb synopsis:
Set in a Tex-Mex border town, this is a classic psychological thriller about Jack and Amaya Bishop, a couple who must come to terms with their tortured pasts in order to save their kidnapped daughter. It is a tale taut with intrigue and steeped in Latino mysticism, where the line between what's real and what's imagined becomes hopelessly blurred.
