    I vaguely remember a movie about a sheriff or deputy (see below)
    About a deputy that has a prisoner that he has to guard and he's sitting out in front of the sheriff's office, it's night and there's just a streetlight and he gets warned or he thinks that a lynch mob was coming so he get's him out of town in a car and of coarse there's a woman and that's all I remember. I think it's in color. Does this sound like a movie you recall.
