Trying to find the name of a movie I believe was made in the 1930's or 1940's in which a man murders an old woman and cements her into a fireplace.I remember seeing this movie only once about twenty years ago.

Around 1940's - 1950's where the characters were horses atc disguised as humans

The movie was about a lady who never had her wedding day and the house was unchanged for years as I think the husband to be died. The clock had stopped the table was laid for the wedding party and there was cobwebs everywhere many years later.
