    Addiction services
I have a loved one who has an alchool problem. :( My mom(she doesn't drink at all) is also affected. She goes to meetings with someone from addiction services by where I live. She had made an apointment for me to go and speak with someone but I just couldn't.:o I really feel like I need someone to talk to about this. I was wondering if there was any where online that you could talk to the people at addiction services or even email them question and have them reply?

If you really need to talk to someone, go talk to someone. Yes, you can get some kind of reaction, maybe even help, online, but face-to-face is almost always better for serious issues. Don't let your fears or foolish pride stop you from getting what you need.

Hi, rex, I probably know why you don't want to go in person. Embarrassment because you are close to the one addicted. These people can help you better if it is a one on one meeting and I am sure you will feel much better once you get there and get it over with and you will have a feeling of accomplishment as well. (To bad you can't take pup with you!).

If you want to find out about the on line service or e mail service, check into their website at AAA local chapter and see if they do have it, but I urge you to go one on one.
