    Need name of old time travel movie from 80s
    I used to own this movie, but it has escaped my ownership and it's killing me that I can't remember the name of it. I'd really like to own it again. I think it may have been a TV movie, but I'm pretty sure its not. It also may be a disney, not I'm not sure on that either.

    It is a movie about a kid that finds out his grandpa tried to fly across the atlantic in a bi-plane, but vanashed at sea. Before he died, he drew up a design for a time traveling machine that eventually, the kids uncle ended up making. The kid went back in time to try and stop his grandpa from making the flight, but he didn't succeed. At the end, the kid travels back through time and brings along his uncles scarff and puts it on a memorial of his grandpas.

    This is all I can remember of the movie. I think the kids uncle in present time in the movie was played by wilton brimmly, but I could be wrong. Please help! Email me at [email protected]
