This movie was about a man who could send your soul to heaven-(when you are about to die)--no matter how you lived your life --in one scene a priest wants him to do the ceremony on him but he tricks him and he goes to hell (I think) can you help--thanks

You are talking about the movie that involes a "SIN EATER" right? Where a fat priest is the main character buddy? And at the end of the movie the daggar that is suppose to kill the Sin Eater is actually the way in which a new Sin Eater is made?

"The Order" (2003)
A priest (played by Heath Ledger) is called upon to investigate the apparent suicide of his mentor, and uncovers the mystery of an ancient being, the Sin Eater, who is able to absolve the sins of those (unrepentant sinners, excommunicated persons, suicides) a normal Catholic priest would be unable to forgive due to church dogma. The knowledge of this creature forces the priest to face his own conflicted feelings about the priesthood. Before he has even begun to sort out his confusion, the larger plot begins to unravel and he finds that he has been at the center of it for longer than he had ever realized.
The girl (played byShannyn Sossamon) is an ex-attempted suicide victim, that the priest falls in love with, but is nearly killed by the Sin eater forcing Ledger character to "eat" her sins of condem her to hell.
