Chinese/Japanese movie where a swordsman is found dead by his challenger at duel site
I'm trying to find the title of a Chinese or Japanese movie in which a swordsman or samurai is summoned to a duel. On his way he is ambushed and attacked, but in spite of his injuries, he manages to reach the duel site, where he is found dead by his challenger. It's about the swordsman's honor and about keeping his word to be there as agreed. His challenger is touched by the faithfulness of the swordsman.
There is a scene in which the swordsman is carrying and infant child through the woods when he is attacked. |
