    Children's movie or short stories
    Sorry this is going to be very vague, but I've been looking for this for months. All I can remember is this one sceen involving a little girl being chased by a giant of some sort, when she comes a river or lake and she crosses it. After she crosses the water she skips a rock back toward the giant on the other side and convices him to tie a rope around his neck and a large rock, then try skipping the rock to the other side to catch her. But of course he dies. I think it is from the early 90's or late 80's because I was really young when I watched it. Thanks in advance if you figure it out! :)

    I tracked this movie down a couple of years ago, I thought I was the only person who remembered it...
    The movie is called Mutzmag: An Appalachian Tale.
    You can buy it on dvd from the director's website Davenport Films: Mutzmag but, it's kind of expensive.
