    Can't change fate movie
    Hi, I'm new to this awsome site.
    I have a question about this movie I watched as a kid(late 80's -early 90's). Its about a woman in an abusive marriage who during one of her beatings from her husband , this time pulls a gun and kills him. Driven by fear, panic and regreat she flees from the scene onto an elevator. This all takes place on the first few moments of the new year. As she is in the elevator she wishes for a second chance and when she exits the elevator, she realises that time has been turned back and she got her wish!
    The movie ends with the same outcome, despite her efforts... husband is still shot in a drunken rage.. only this time by a friend. I remember the quate "you can't change fate".
    Can some one tell me what the title of the movie is? I would really like to find and see this movie again.
