    Australian movie?
    There was a movie in the 80's about some school kids and their school was taken over by some criminals. Eventually the kids trap the criminals in a cave or something and killed them. I can't remember the name of that film but if anyone knows I would appreciate the info.

    The only thing that comes to mind is "small soldiers"

    Its about an british boarding school thingy with dorms and stuff. Some commandos take over the school and ask for a hostage to leave. The kids all try and make a plan to escape, with the lead kid (sean astin I think, samwise in LOTR) has his father in the fbi.

    This movie is made in 90s though, but hope it helps.

    The movie is called The Fortress... if searching to buy the movie it will take some weeding as there is also another movie called Fortress but it's out there :)
