    2 kids witness a murder by a man with a hook for a hand, it gets blamed on a drunk
    A boy and a girl saw a man with a hook for a hand kill someone. But no one seems to believe them, or they are afraid to come forward yet, but a drunk/bum man was on the scene and is blamed for it.

    I don't remember much more, I recall a scene in a grave yard, which the kid dig up someone, there is something buried with them I think. Worn around the neck.

    I think the guy with the hook had a black beard, for some reason I think he looks like the guy who played Bluto in Popeye.

    I forget a lot of what happens but I'm sure they don't leave the drunk guy to die.

    Sounds a bit like the plot from Tom & Huck. The girl I think was Kim Richards, or she sounded a lot like her.
