I didn't find a reference to a 2253LS on Samsung's web site. So... The monitor base pictured in the 2253LW manual and on my 226BW tilts only. Height adjustment is a feature more typical to monitors that offer a pivot mode. Another way to get full adjustability is a monitor arm (e.g. Innovative Office Products: LCD arms and monitor arms). Arms usually require the monitor to have a VESA mounting arrangement. Most LCDs, including the 2253LW, have this mounting interface, although sometimes a panel has to be removed on the monitor to reveal it.
