    Getting No Signal
    Hi,

I have a ViewSonic VA712b monitor. When I boot up I get a "no Signal" on the monjtor.
If I go into safe mode everything works. No error messages.

Can someone tell me what's going on?

    Thanks in advance.

Most likely, your video card is set to a resolution that the monitor doesn't support. Instead of booting to safe mode, try 'VGA mode'. From there, you should be able to change the resolution.

The problem with safe mode is that when you reboot, it doesn't save the settings. With VGA mode, it just loads generic settings, lets you change them, and saves the changes when you reboot.

    Best of luck!
