    Hello Razes

As psychics fail to attend this board with their special capacities, you have to provide some basic information to allow others to reply you...

1 - have you checked the monitor itself by connecting it to another laptop or computer - i.e. are you sure it is the monitor that causes the problem ?

2 - what monitor do you have ? Type, brand, size ?

3 - did you check the connection cable and connection itself at both sides ? Often there may only be a contact problem !

4 - have you already tried the "hit" test? (a good hand clap against the monitor side). Did you see anything change or happen when you did that ?

If needed please come back to the board and discuss your findings!
If necessary contact me by private mail (click on my handle and follow instructions) to draw my attention. I will than reply here again.
If this helps solving your problem, than please rate this reply.

    Success !

    :)

Yes friend I have done all the test you have suggested.

About my monitor, its prolink monitor that has been purchased about 2 years ago and 17" simple ( no lcd or flat) monitor [rt now its all I can say, I will provide details tomorrow]

All the connections have been checked, tried on another computer, tried the hit test, but no effect... well seems like my monitor has lost power feels like doesnot have enough power to glow... is there any test for this... I want to try

    Need help.
