    Finding an old friend
    I am looking for an old friend whose maiden name is Nancy Katona, graduated from UCLA in 1971, birthdate is either 1946 to 1950 in California

    Start by looking at high school reunion websites if you know this information. If you find a match you can usually figure out the area they now live without buying a subscription.

    Now go to the state/county auditor's website and search her name. If she isn't homeless and owns a home, either jointly or on her own it will come up with an address. Then you can send her a letter and hopefully rekindle your friendship.
